EUROPEAN HERITAGE FOR AN ACTIVE EUROPEAN CITIZENSHIP THROUGH INTERCULTURAL DIALOGUE is a project integrated in the Longlife Learning Program of The European Comission of Education and Training and belongs to theĀ  sectorial Programme Grundtivg for adult education.

Partners from Verona (Italy), Bingol (Turkey), Cuenca (Spain), Warsaw (Poland), Trikala (Greece), Le Puy-en-Velay (France), Utena (Lithuania) and Nicosia (Cyprus) aim to contribute to the preservation and popularization of cultural and historical heritage of their cities/regions for present and future generations.

The general idea of the project is to create an active European citizenship in every person, an awareness of being European citizens, through knowledge of cultural/historical heritage of Partnership countries. Foreing language becomes a tool to rightful participation in economy and cultural life of Europe.

The specific objetives of project are to contribute to the process of dissemination and awareness of cultural heritage among teachers, parents and adult students; encourage them to study cultural heritage of all European countries; develop skills for using information and communication technologies; improve skills for communication with Institutions from European countries.
